Description
Chicha Libre - Canibalismo
The Brooklyn band's new album features cumbias new and old, familiar and adventurous, many of which were inspired by the band’s travels in South America and its encounters with the various strains of new Tropical music. At its core, the music remains a mixture of latin rhythms, surf and psychedelia inspired by '60s Peruvian music from the Amazon, featuring mellotron and other vintage synths as well with African guitars and many other wonderful ingredients.
