As one half of avant-jungle outfit 4 Hero, Dego McFarlane has been one of the most influential electronic music producers of the last 15 years. In this brilliant, 1996 debut album as Tek 9, Dego reconnected with his hip hop roots and created a masterpiece which was hailed as a milestone of abstract downtempo. Guests included producer King Britt, rappers Manifest & Cheewa, Aksak Maboul/Honeymoon Killers vocalist Veronique Vincent.

This is the original twin CD set, also including a compilation of Tek 9's seminal jungle tracks: "Breakin' Sound Barriers - The Oldies But Goldies".
