Description
Minimal Compact - The Figure One Cuts
Released in 1987, this was Minimal Compact last studio album. It was recorded with producer John Fryer (Cocteau Twins, Depeche Mode, M/A/R/R/S), and included tracks such as “Nil-Nil”,” Inner Station”, “New Clear Twist” and “Piece of Green”.
The Figure One Cuts further developed the directions explored in Raging Souls, with multi-layered guitars and voices, splendid melodies, an ample sound and a touch of neo-psychedelia.
The CD version of the album includes two tracks which previously came out on an EP: Minimal Compact's cover of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song", and "I Imagine".
